ALL ABOUT ME:

I have many varying interest. Some people might call them strange...I don't really give a damn what they think!

Hard Rock/Heavy Metal: I have been a metal/hard rock fan since 1987, with roots dating back to 1983 and Mötley Crüe.

Many call me a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Historian. Hey...I DO know my stuff. I estimate that I have over 1000 CD's, with 98% of them heavy metal/hard rock.

To me: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Savatage, Black Sabbath, Manowar and Dio are THE Gods of Metal and among my favorite bands.

I am a huge fan of Power Metal and Symphonic Metal. My current favorite modern bands are Kamelot, Iced Earth, Nightwish and my friends ASKA, a power metal band based in DFW. They have played many world tours in over 37 different counties. I am also into some Progressive Metal and Goth Metal. Shadows Fall kick major ass too.

I do still like Twisted Sister, Kiss and Tesla as well as a few other of the the old "glam" (like Winger) and "thrash" bands (like Megadeth) from the 80's. I also have a strange like for both Slayer and Stryper. Go figure that out.

I guess Mötley Crüe will always be my favorite of ALL bands (but Manowar and Savatage are a VERY close .. two and three). With the Crüe it is about more than just music cause Nikki Sixx is somewhat an idol to me. The man has been to hell and back and lived to tell it. Hell, he died and came back to life.

Wrestling:  I have been watch or involved in some way with wresting since 1982.  It begin as a child when I saw the "Great Kabuki" blowing green mist.

In High School I started wrestling myself and joined up with David Steele and his group.  I soon found myself winning the groups title belt.   By the mid-1990's hit, we stopped out live action wrestling and begin running fantasy and e-wrestling.  In 1997 we moved it to the internet and was soon endorsed by the National Wrestling Alliance.  Our fantasy wrestling was soon the hottest thing going on the net and even the real life WWE and WCW was watching.  By 2001

TV host: I am the current co-host of The Video Bob Show. The show returned back via webcasting on Sundays, after a LONG 10 year break. We are on a break from the show for now, but it could return anytime, without notice. I am also the former co-host of Metal Review, a spin off from the show Underground Connection. We were kicked off the air after members of the local DFW Band "Ritual Misery" stuck a pickle up a drunk dudes butt crack. Hey, it was funny as hell...but after the broadcast not only were we kicked off the air BUT the master tape was destroyed by the network.

"Videobob Show Intro- 1996"

Nostradamus: I have been a "student" of his prophecies since I was a kid. We were both born on the same day too...December 14th.

The Kennedy Assassination: I have done extensive research on the Kennedy Assassination for many years. I have a large library of both video and books on the subject. ...and yes I know who killed JFK - his name is James E. Files.

Travel: Manitou Springs, Colorado and Las Vegas, Nevada are my two favorite places to visit. I make a trip to both every year now. There is nothing like the top of Pikes Peak. I want to go to Yellowstone National Park soon.

Horror Movies: I love the art of horror in general. While many of the 80's "slashers" movies seem somewhat cheesy these days, I am still a fan of them. Evil Dead II is the funnest bloodest movie ever made. Very awesome stuff. I also like all things Vampire, be it books, movies or songs.. I own over 100 Horror Movies on DVD.

"Spook Houses": For many years I worked at Halloween time haunted houses (spook houses - the word I use) as an actor, playing an old school vampire and the famous "Blue Demon" . I was the manager of the American Legion house from 1987 to 1993. I was even fired from Cilo-X in 1996 for "being to evil looking", something I am quite proud of! .. For some time I still work places like The Cutting Edge at least once or twice a year, but for the most part I retired from the world of Spook Houses...well...until I decided to open one up in my back yard.  Yes I now run my own "Yard Haunt"

Ghost Hunting and Metaphysical Study Group: Yep, I have now moved on to "real" haunted houses. We have formed a new group in 2008 called the Mystic Paranormal Society. In the past I have visited many "haunted" locations across DFW and took two trips to the "haunted" Baker Hotel, located in Mineral Wells, TX., in the hopes of evidence. Strange, but very fun. If u are looking for ghost, who you gonna call? Me! The study group used to meet at The Enchanted Forest Metaphysical Shope in Ft Worth.
