A Money in the Bank Match at the Great American Bash is signed – Contact for the
WWA Worlds Heavyweight Title at stake. First qualifying match is tonight!
Roddy Piper brings out “The Highlander” Jon Moores and Drew McIntyre. Moores
showed up at the very last second of McIntyre's tag team match vs. The Hardy
Boys allowing McIntyre to pin Jeff Hardy. Piper talks of his new “United
Powers” and the welcomes the next piece of the puzzle. Sheamus walks to the
ring. Piper tells everyone The United Powers of Ireland and Scotland will soon
rule the PWA. They begin trashing several wrestlers, mostly John Cena.
McIntyre says he is the future, and Cena is over with.
Steve Elliott walks out to chores of booing fans. He talks of his “sold win”
over Christian Cage. Elliot laughs and says now they have to have a Money in
the Bank match, due to the fact everyone fears him and no contenders are left.
The PWA must force a new contender. Elliott heads to the locker room as the
fans boo him all the way.
Team 3D make their way to the ring. Bubba Ray says they made an impact by attacks on both the WWA World Tag Team champions and the PWA Tag Team champions. Now they are focusing on The Snake Pit full time.
Sexy Boys plays as Shawn Michaels comes out. He addresses the fact that Pete Jackson and he had one of the greatest matches in history at Busch. The rematch is signed, but not for Great American Bash, it is going to at The All Star Spectacular. In the mean time, HBK is focused on another goal – to qualify for and win the Money in the Bank and challenge for a seventh world heavyweight title!
My Way plays as Pete Jackson comes to address Michaels. He said in fact the contract is signed and the match is made. Jackson agrees that his rematch with Michaels is a while off still so he will also look at other agendas too – helping John Cena deal with The United Powers. The two shake hands and leave the ring.
John Cena says he has had enough of Drew McIntyre and his mouth. He wants to teach “The One” a lesion.
The Snake Pit is interviewed. Victor Bloode admits that Team 3D put on over him and Jeff Farmer. But they will have revenge and it will be at The Great American Bash. Bloode says that the Dudleys do not scare the Pit and they will challenge them to a Tables Matches at the Bash!
Christian Cage is in the back. He is mad and screaming. He said he is sick of “playing by the rules” and letting someone like Steve Elliott out fox him. Look for a “new” Christian Cage and no more mister nice guy.
Terry Taylor and Randy Orton are in the ring with Dr. Tim Newhouse. Newhouse
rules that Randy Orton is once again mentally competent to wrestle. Taylor
reinstates Orton and tells him he will wrestle The Demon Drake Vile tonight. The
fans cheer. Taylor then adds that Orton must be checked once a month. The fans
boo.
CM Punk is interviewed. He is just back from his trip to Singapore where he
defended his World Hardcore title successfully. He converts three fans at
ringside to the Straight Edge Society.
Bad Street plays as The Freebirds come to the ring. Mark Hayes says they are NOT done with the Harts. He says the Harts have been ducking them. David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Teddy Hart come out. The six men start a huge brawl. Then Nattie Neidhart and Lacey Von Erich start fighting. It takes the entire locker room to break up this fight.
