⸻
Opening Segment
The arena lights dim.
No music.
Dexter Lumis is already sitting in the ring.
Cross-legged.
A folding chair sits across from him.
On the chair…
An old leather journal.
Lumis never speaks.
Instead he opens the journal.
Inside is a photograph.
Young Devon Morgan.
Healthy.
Smiling.
Training in a wrestling ring.
The crowd becomes very quiet.
Lumis finally speaks.
“I remember him.”
He closes the book.
“The question is…”
“…does he?”
The lights go out.
When they return…
Lumis is gone.
Only the journal remains.
⸻
Backstage
Deven Draemur storms into Shawn Michaels’ office.
He slams the journal onto the desk.
Draemur:
“Where did he get this?”
Michaels calmly answers.
“I was hoping you’d tell me.”
Draemur opens the journal.
Inside…
Every page has been torn out.
Except one.
It simply reads:
“Room 312.”
Draemur stares at it.
Without another word…
He leaves.
⸻
Match 1
CSW Television Championship
Leon Slater (c)
vs
Matt Sydal
A respectful, athletic showcase.

After the match, Sydal raises Slater’s hand.
Matt Sydal:
“You don’t need a manager.”
“You need someone who pushes you.”
“I’ll be watching.”
⸻
Den Scarraman is about to be interviewd when he’s interrupted by Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
Stacks comes out alone, dressed sharply, with his trademark swagger.
The crowd boos.
Stacks slowly circles Scarraman.
Stacks:
“So this is the great Den Scarraman…”
“You know what I see?”
“I see a fifty-year-old man pretending he’s still twenty-five.”
Scarraman smirks.
Stacks:
“You’ve been bleeding in bingo halls for thirty years.”
“You’ve got more scars than victories.”
“You’ve got bad knees…”
“…a bad back…”
“…and probably an AARP card.”
Crowd laughs.
Stacks steps closer.
Stacks:
“The future doesn’t belong to old war horses.”
“It belongs to guys like me.”
“You’ve had your glory.”
“Now it’s my turn.”
Scarraman never loses his smile.
He slowly raises the Heritage Championship.
Scarraman:
“Son…”
“You ain’t old enough to know what earning this feels like.”
Huge reaction.
Stacks slaps the championship out of Den’s hands.
The arena erupts.
Officials immediately separate them.
Shawn Michaels appears.
Michaels:
“You want a title shot?”
“You’ve got it.”
“Next week.”
Crowd pops.
Stacks smiles.
Stacks:
“Hope you’ve got one more fight left in those old bones.”
⸻

Ashley Barnes is waiting backstage.
Darkside walks toward her.
This time…
He doesn’t stop.
He gives Ashley a hug.
The crowd erupts.
Eros smiles.
Haley James laughs.
Ashley has tears in her eyes.
Ashley:
“I knew you were still in there.”
Darkside quietly replies:
“I’m trying.”
The crowd pops again.
⸻
Then…
Deven Draemur appears.
He has seen everything.
His face changes from anger…
…to disappointment.
Draemur:
“You’ve become weak.”
Darkside doesn’t flinch.
For the first time…
He answers back.
“No.”
Pause.
“I’m becoming free.”
The crowd explodes.
Draemur says nothing.
He simply walks away.

⸻
David Schultz Investigation
Schultz finally discovers where “Room 312” is.
It was…
A rehabilitation room.
At the medical facility where Devon Morgan spent nearly four years after his neck injury.
Schultz:
“I think we’re looking in the wrong place.”
Michaels:
“What do you mean?”
Schultz:
“I don’t think Dexter Lumis created Deven Draemur…”
Pause.
“I think he found him.”
Huge story development.

vs
Iron Resolve
Non-title Match
Excellent television main event.

Late in the match…
Draemur walks to ringside.
The crowd boos immediately.
Darkside ignores him.
Eros ignores him.
The crowd chants:
“LET THEM FIGHT!”
Winners: Darkside and Eros
After the bell…
Draemur orders Nick Beef into the ring.
Nick Beef attacks both men.
For the first time…
Darkside fights back against Nick Beef.
Huge reaction.
Eros joins him.
Nick Beef is driven from the ring.
Draemur cannot believe what he just witnessed.
He slowly backs away.
Then…
The lights go out after Darkside and Eros chase Nick Beef from the ring.
Silence.
Dexter Lumis appears exactly where he stood the week before.
The crowd immediately becomes quiet.
He slowly looks toward Draemur.
Lumis says only one sentence.
Dexter Lumis:
“The first lie was your name.”
Silence.
The crowd is trying to process it.
Then…
A lone spotlight appears on the entrance stage.
Indi Hartwell slowly walks into it.
She finally speaks for the first time.
Softly.
Almost like she’s remembering something.
Indi Hartwell:
“A man can bury his name…”
“…but he can never bury the one who remembers speaking it.”
Long pause.
She slowly looks toward Lumis.
Then toward Draemur.
Indi Hartwell:
“The dead don’t always rise from graves…”
“…sometimes…”
“…they rise from memories.”
She lowers her head.
Dexter Lumis looks directly into the camera.
Then says only five words:
“Welcome back… Devon Morgan.”
The lights go black.
When they return…
Lumis…
Indi…
and Nick Beef…
are all gone.
Only Deven Draemur remains standing alone in the ring.
For the first time…
He doesn’t look angry.
He looks afraid.
Vic Joseph:
“What if Deven Draemur isn’t being haunted by a ghost…”
“…what if he’s being haunted by his own past?”
Fade to black.
