Tony Schiavone says every championship and every major rivalry will be front and center tonight.

Opening Segment
WWA World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns opens the show.
The crowd gives Roman a mixed but loud reaction.
Roman says Battle at Busch proved one thing.
“The Tribal Chief is back on top.”
He says everyone keeps calling Hikuleo the Roman Slayer.
“I’ve beaten bigger.”
“I’ve beaten better.”
“I’ve beaten entire families.”
Roman says SummerSlam isn’t about revenge.
“It’s about ending another dynasty.”
Finn Bálor interrupts.
Finn says Roman is looking at the wrong man.
“Hikuleo doesn’t need my words.”
“He speaks with his fists.”
Finn says Roman spent years building the Bloodline while everyone laughed at Bullet Club falling apart.
“Jay White went one way.”
“Hangman and The Bucks went another.”
“But Bullet Club still has monsters.”
Finn introduces Hikuleo, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa.
The Tongans slowly walk onto the stage.
Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu join Roman.
The six men stare each other down.
No punches.
No brawl.
Cole says, “The war has officially reached SummerSlam.”

A physical opening contest.
Jacob Fatu neutralizes Tama Tonga after outside interference.
Solo finishes Tanga Loa with the Samoan Spike.

Hikuleo steps into the ring.
Roman immediately enters from commentary.
Neither man throws a punch.
Roman raises the World Championship.
Hikuleo points at it.

Brandon Myers addresses the locker room.
He officially announces the SummerSlam card.
Before leaving, he’s asked about Pete Jackson.
Myers smiles.
“Everybody keeps asking me when Pete Jackson is coming back.”
“The truth is… I don’t know.”
“Pete Jackson isn’t under contract to Brandon Myers.”
“Pete Jackson is the Executive Chairman of the Board.”
“When Pete Jackson decides it’s time to return, he’ll return.”
“But I’ll tell you this.”
“What he did against Nic Cross at Battle at Busch reminded the world exactly why Pete Jackson is one of the greatest wrestlers this business has ever produced.”
The crowd applauds.

Logan Paul attacks Carmelo from behind.
He repeatedly punches Carmelo before escaping through the crowd.

Punk says he’s heard Kai Hansen talk for weeks.
“I’ve heard how Gunther has changed.”
“I’ve heard how Gunther is dangerous again.”
“I’ve heard how Gunther deserves my championship.”
Punk holds up the title.
“I don’t care which version of Gunther shows up.”
“The result will be the same.”
“I’m walking out of Texas the PWA Champion.”
Gunther appears on the video screen.
Kai Hansen does all the talking.
Kai says, “At SummerSlam you’re going to discover something.”
“The old Gunther never left.”
“He was simply waiting to wake up.”

Karrion Kross and Scarlett appear.
Kross raises the American Championship.

Bianca Belair interrupts.

Bianca says, “I still believe I’m the best woman in this company, and at SummerSlam I’m proving it.”

Security rushes the ring before either man can get close.

Twenty-plus minutes.
Dragon Lee gets one of the best performances of his PWA career.
Jay keeps getting frustrated because Dragon Lee won’t stay down.
Late in the match Juice Robinson distracts the referee.
Austin Ace grabs Dragon Lee’s leg.
Dragon Lee fights them off.
Suddenly Los Forajidos sprint to ringside.
Bandido and El Vengador pull Juice and Austin into a brawl.
Jay catches Dragon Lee with the Blade Runner.
1…
2…
Winner: Jay White
Post Match
The Bang Bang Gang and Los Forajidos continue fighting around ringside.
Officials try pulling everyone apart.
Jay escapes laughing.
He points at Bandido.
He points at El Vengador.
Then smiles at Dragon Lee lying in the ring.
Jay says, “SummerSlam… Bang Bang Gang finishes the job.”
The camera cuts backstage.
Roman Reigns watches everything on a monitor.
He shakes his head.
Roman quietly says,
“Everybody wants a war.”
He walks away holding the WWA Championship.
