Michael Cole welcomes fans to a special one-hour edition of PWA on FOX, just twenty-four hours before SummerSlam from the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Corey Graves says every rivalry is about to explode.

Tony Schiavone promises one final look at the biggest matches before SummerSlam.

Opening Segment

The new WWA World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns joins Tony Schiavone in the ring.

Roman says, “Tomorrow night isn’t about championships. It’s about ending a legacy.”

Roman says Bullet Club had its time.

“Now it’s my era.”

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu join Roman.

Finn Bálor appears on the giant screen.

Finn says Roman still doesn’t understand.

“You think you’re fighting Bullet Club.”

“No.”

“You’re fighting three Tongans who don’t care about your family.”

Finn says Hikuleo doesn’t want Roman’s respect.

“He wants your head.”

The screen goes black.

Cole says tomorrow night’s main event is going to be a war.

Dragon Lee

Juice Robinson

A fast-paced ten-minute match opens the show.

Austin Ace tries interfering before Los Forajidos chase him away.

Dragon Lee catches Juice with Operation Dragon.

Post Match

Jay White blindsides Dragon Lee with the Blade Runner.

The Bang Bang Gang stands over Dragon Lee before Bandido and El Vengador clear the ring.

Jay laughs and says, “Tomorrow night… the Bang Bang Gang takes over.”

Dirty Dominik Mysterio

Dirty Dom enters with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez/

Dom receives deafening boos.

Dom says, “AAA finally came to their senses and lifted my suspension.”

The crowd boos louder.

Dom raises the championship.

“This isn’t Dr. Wagner’s championship.”

“It’s MY championship.”

Dom says he carried AAA for years while “they kept giving opportunities to yesterday’s heroes.”

Then he turns his attention toward Mexico.

“You people in Mexico keep crying because your hero lost this championship.”

“Well here’s the truth.”

“I’m the biggest star AAA has ever had.”

“I’m bigger than every lucha legend you’ve ever cheered.”

“I’m taking MY championship home tomorrow night.”

The boos become overwhelming.

Suddenly, Dr. Wagner Jr. appears on the video screen from Mexico City.

Holding the AAA Mega Heavyweight Championship, Wagner calmly responds.

“Dominik…”

“You didn’t just lose a championship.”

“You lost your honor.”

“Tomorrow in Texas… I’ll embarrass you in front of the entire wrestling world.”

Dom throws the microphone down and screams that Wagner is afraid to say it to his face.

Cole reminds everyone the AAA Mega Heavyweight Championship will be defended tomorrow night at SummerSlam.

Paul Heyman and Chad Gable are interviewed.

Heyman says Cody Rhodes has spent twenty years chasing greatness.

Tomorrow he chases another disappointment.

Gable says, “Cody talks about finishing stories.”

“I’m ending one.”

Carmelo Hayes

John Skyler

Quick showcase.

Hayes wins clean with Nothing But Net.

Logan Paul appears on the stage applauding sarcastically.

He simply says, “See you tomorrow.”

Hayes smiles.

“No shortcuts this time.”

SummerSlam Contract Signing

CM Punk enters first.

Then Gunther walks to the ring with Kai Hansen.

Security surrounds ringside.

Tony Schiavone oversees the signing.

Punk signs immediately.

Gunther slowly signs.

Kai Hansen grabs a microphone.

“Tomorrow… the old Gunther finishes what he started.”

Punk stands.

“I’ve heard enough.”

“I don’t care if it’s the old Gunther, the new Gunther or the greatest Gunther that ever lived.”

“The championship stays with me.”

Gunther steps nose-to-nose with Punk.

Without saying another word…

Gunther slowly removes his jacket.

The crowd comes alive.

Kai smiles.

Gunther simply stares into Punk’s eyes before putting the jacket back on and leaving the ring.

No punches.

No brawl.

Cole says, “That’s the most dangerous Gunther we’ve seen in years.”

Penta

Phil Shatter
with Drake Maverick

A hard-hitting television main event.

Phil Shatter impresses before Penta finishes him with the Package Piledriver.

Post Match

The lights go out.

When they return, Karrion Kross and Scarlett are standing behind Penta.

Neither man attacks.

Kross slowly raises the American Championship.

Penta turns.

The two stand inches apart.

Penta flashes the “Cero Miedo” hand gesture.

Kross smiles.

Scarlett whispers, “Tomorrow.”

Neither man moves.

Michael Cole closes the show.

“Everything is set.”

Corey Graves adds, “Tomorrow night, SummerSlam changes PWA forever.”

Tony Schiavone signs off.

“We’ll see everyone tomorrow night from the Alamodome in San Antonio for SummerSlam
