Michael Cole: “Welcome to Prime Time Wrestling, live from Toronto! All Star Spectacular is only a couple of weeks away and the intensity is rising.”
Corey Graves: “Matches will be made, scores will be settled, and somebody is walking out of here closer to September 5th.”
Opening Segment
Brandon Myers and Chris Champion open the show.
They announce that tonight will feature action across the board, but the main focus remains building the 40th Annual All Star Spectacular. Chris Champion says several big matches will be finalized tonight.
Match 1
Dragon Lee vs. Troy “Two Dimes” Donovan (with Maxine Dupri)
Competitive match. Donovan uses shortcuts and Maxine’s interference. Dragon Lee overcomes it and wins with a high-flying finisher.
Winner: Dragon Lee
Michael Cole: “Dragon Lee continues to impress.”
Corey Graves: “Maxine’s money couldn’t buy this one.”
Interview – Jackie Redmond with Ethan Page
Ethan Page continues his verbal attacks on Chad Gable, calling him “Shorty G” again and saying Paul Heyman and Logan Paul won’t save him at All Star Spectacular. He demands the North American Title match be signed tonight.
Match 2
Je’Von Evans vs. Eddy Thorpe
Je’Von Evans looks strong and athletic. He wins cleanly with a flashy sequence.
Winner: Je’Von Evans
Segment – CM Punk & Karrion Kross
CM Punk comes out with the PWA Heavyweight Championship.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett interrupt.
After another heated exchange (Scarlett continues to mock Punk’s personal life), Brandon Myers comes out and has them sign the contract for the PWA Heavyweight Championship match at All Star Spectacular.
They sign, then brawl until security separates them.
Michael Cole: “It’s official — Punk versus Kross at All Star Spectacular!”
Match 3
Iyo Sky vs. Blair Davenport
Hard-hitting women’s match. Iyo Sky picks up the win with a moonsault.
Winner: Iyo Sky
Segment – Gunther
Gunther is in the ring. He calls out Alexander Hammerstone and says he will destroy him at All Star Spectacular.
Hammerstone comes out. The two men go face-to-face until officials get between them.
Chris Champion comes out and announces that Gunther vs Alexander Hammerstone is now official for All Star Spectacular.
Match 4 – Tag Team Action
British Strong Style (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) vs. The Creed Brothers
Stiff, hard-hitting tag match. British Strong Style win when Pete Dunne hits the Bitter End.
Winners: British Strong Style
Interview – Tony Schiavone with Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns (with Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu) talks about facing Hikuleo at All Star Spectacular. He says he is the better World Champion and that the Tribal Fight for the tag titles will show the difference between them and Guerrillas of Destiny.
Match 5
Carmelo Hayes vs. JD McDonagh
Fast-paced match. Carmelo Hayes wins with the Nothing But Net.
Winner: Carmelo Hayes
Main Event Segment / Match
Solo Sikoa (with Roman Reigns & Jacob Fatu) vs. Tanga Loa (with Tama Tonga & Hikuleo)
Physical, angry match between the two factions. After interference on both sides, Solo Sikoa wins with the Samoan Spike.
Winner: Solo Sikoa
Post-match, both sides brawl. Hikuleo and Roman end up face-to-face as the show goes off the air.
Michael Cole: “The war between these two sides is only getting more intense!”
Corey Graves: “All Star Spectacular can’t get here fast enough.”
Final Announcement
Before the show ends, Chris Champion announces the following matches are now official for the 40th Annual All Star Spectacular:
• CM Punk (c) vs Karrion Kross – PWA Heavyweight Championship
• Gunther vs Alexander Hammerstone
• Roman Reigns (c) vs Hikuleo – WWA World Heavyweight Championship (pending final paperwork)
• Guerrillas of Destiny (c) vs Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu – Tribal Fight for the WWA World Tag Team Titles
Michael Cole: “The card is coming together in a big way!”
Corey Graves: “And we still have more to come."
