Cody Rhodes is backstage. He says he’s ready for All Star Spectacular and wants a real challenger — someone who can actually stand with him in the main event scene again.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Joe Gacy
Fast, athletic match. Carmelo looks sharp and wins with the Nothing But Net.

Winner: Carmelo Hayes

Kai Hansen: “At least Hayes doesn’t waste my time. Most of these other fools should take notes.”

Interview 2 – Cathy Kelley with Chad Gable & Paul Heyman

Gable and Heyman continue talking about Ethan Page. Heyman says Page will learn respect the hard way at All Star Spectacular when Gable defends the North American Title.

Hard-hitting, technical tag match. British Strong Style win when Pete Dunne hits the Bitter End on one of the Creeds.

Hammerstone says Gunther can talk all he wants — at All Star Spectacular he’s going to shut him up permanently.

Dragon Lee vs. Eddy Thorpe
Athletic, competitive match. Dragon Lee wins with a high-impact finisher.

Main Event Segment – Cody Rhodes Challenged
Cody Rhodes is in the ring addressing the Ottawa crowd. He says he wants the biggest challenge possible at All Star Spectacular.

The lights dim slightly.
Drew McIntyre’s music hits.

Drew McIntyre walks out to a big reaction. He stares Cody down from the stage, then walks to the ring.
Drew gets in the ring and says he’s been away, watching, and he’s done waiting. He wants Cody Rhodes at All Star Spectacular.

Cody looks surprised but accepts on the spot.

The two men stand face-to-face as the crowd reacts strongly. Officials eventually get between them as the show ends.

Joe Tessitore: “Drew McIntyre is back… and he just challenged Cody Rhodes for All Star Spectacular!”
Kai Hansen: “Well, well. The Scottish Psychopath returns and immediately picks a fight with the golden boy. I love it. This might actually be worth watching.”
