Pre-Show Package
A video traces All Star Spectacular from the first one in St. Louis in 1986 to tonight inside a football stadium. Old territory footage, packed buildings, title changes, and Pete Jackson as the first real face of the company. The graphic hits: 40 Years. One Night. The Standard of PWA.
Michael Cole: “Welcome to the 40th Annual All Star Spectacular, live from U.S. Bank Stadium!”
Corey Graves: “This is the show that built this company.”
Kai Hansen: “Forty years of people pretending they belong on a card this big. Let’s see who actually does.”

Match 1
Jay White vs. Ilja Dragunov
Pre-match: Jay White says this is the fight he asked for. Dragunov says talking is finished.
The opener is stiff and fast. Forearms in the corner, Dragunov’s chest turning red, White answering with boots and a Blade Runner attempt that Dragunov rolls through. Near-fall after a Dragunov lariat. Another after White’s Blade Runner out of nowhere — one, two, kickout. They trade in the center of the ring until White catches him with a second Blade Runner.
Winner: Jay White
Michael Cole: “What an opener!”
Corey Graves: “That is how you start a stadium show.”
Kai Hansen: “Finally. Two grown men who came to hurt each other.”

Match 2
Finn Bálor vs. Carmelo Hayes
Pre-match: Hayes says he doesn’t need Bullet Club politics. Bálor says Hayes is about to find out what the biggest stage feels like.
They start fast and spill outside early. Hayes hits a springboard on the floor. Bálor answers with a dropkick through the ropes. They brawl up the ramp, into the timekeeper’s area, and back toward the ring. The referee’s count hits eight, nine — both men miss the count.
Result: Double Count-Out
Post-match they keep fighting until officials separate them. No winner, no loser, and the crowd is loud.
Michael Cole: “Neither man would give an inch.”
Corey Graves: “That one is not over.”
Kai Hansen: “Good. Leave them mad. Mad is useful.”

Match 3 – PWA Women’s Tag Team Championship
Triple Threat
Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (c)
vs H.A.T.E. (Nikki Cross & Blair Davenport)
vs The Black Roses (Saraya Paige & Lyra Valkyria)
(Dominik Mysterio at ringside for the champions)
Pre-match: The Black Roses look locked in. Paige says they didn’t come here to make up the numbers.
Chaos from the start. Dominik tries to get involved and gets shoved down. H.A.T.E. isolates Lyra. Paige makes the save. Late in the match Roxanne has Paige covered after a Pop Rocks — kickout. Nikki Cross dives onto Raquel on the floor. In the ring, Lyra hits a driver on Blair Davenport and Paige follows with a roll-up.
Winners and NEW PWA Women’s Tag Team Champions: The Black Roses
Michael Cole: “Upset! The Black Roses have the titles!”
Corey Graves: “They just arrived and they just walked out champions.”
Kai Hansen: “Look at that. The new ones paid attention. The champions did not.”

Match 4 – AAA Mega Championship
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Sami Zayn
Pre-match: Sami says the belt doesn’t make the man. Dominik says the Minneapolis crowd can boo all they want.
Competitive match. Sami has him in the Helluva Kick — Dominik rolls out. Dominik hits a frog splash for two. Late in the match Sami looks to have it won. Dominik grabs the referee. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez distract Sami. Dominik low-blows him behind the official’s back and hits a rolling cutter.
Winner and still AAA Mega Champion: Dominik Mysterio
Michael Cole: “He cheated his way through another one.”
Corey Graves: “Sami had that match won.”
Kai Hansen: “Dirty Dom. At least he’s honest about the first word.”

Match 5 – North American Championship
Chad Gable (c) vs. Ethan Page
(Paul Heyman at ringside)
Pre-match: Page calls him Shorty G one more time. Gable says talk is cheap in a stadium.
Page controls with strikes and a near-fall after Ego’s Edge. Gable targets the leg and almost steals it with an ankle lock. Heyman gets involved on the floor. Just as Page lines Gable up, Logan Paul hits the ring — injured or not — and clocks Page. Gable covers.
Winner and still North American Champion: Chad Gable
Michael Cole: “Logan Paul just cost Ethan Page the title!”
Corey Graves: “That was a setup from the start.”
Kai Hansen: “Mr. YouTube still buys his endings. Shorty G still needs help. Perfect pair.”

Match 6 – PWA Tag Team Championship
The New Day (c) (with Michael Tarver) vs
The Skyscrapers (Baron Corbin & Donovan Dijak) (with Maxine Dupri)
Pre-match: Tarver says the New Day are still the standard. Maxine laughs and says the standard is about to get dropped.
Big man match. New Day use speed. Midnight Hour is blocked. Dijak hits a big boot. Corbin almost wins with End of Days on Woods — kickout. Late in the match Tarver gets on the apron. Ryan Hamrick and Scorpio Ayla of Hall of Pain run in and take Tarver out. Mark Henry appears on the stage. In the confusion Corbin hits End of Days on Kofi.
Winners and NEW PWA Tag Team Champions: The Skyscrapers
Michael Cole: “The titles have changed hands!”
Corey Graves: “Hall of Pain just got their revenge.”
Kai Hansen: “New Day got cute. Henry’s boys collected.”

Match 7
Alexander Hammerstone vs. Gunther
Pre-match: Gunther says he doesn’t need Kai Hansen or anyone else. Hammerstone says this is the end of the old version of this company.
This is a beating. Gunther tries to make it a chop war. Hammerstone walks through it. He slams Gunther through the announce table. Back inside, Nightmare Pendulum for two — Gunther barely kicks. Hammerstone hits another. Still not enough. He dumps Gunther into the corner, hits a running splash, then a third Nightmare Pendulum.
Winner: Alexander Hammerstone
Post-match Hammerstone does not stop. He hits one more power move before officials pull him off. Gunther is down, done, and does not get up on his own. Hammerstone stands in the middle of the ring as the crowd pops. This is a star-making performance.
Michael Cole: “Alexander Hammerstone just ended that chapter.”
Corey Graves: “Gunther has nothing left.”
Kai Hansen: “I told you he was lost. Hammerstone finished the job I wouldn’t waste another minute on.”

Match 8 – PWA Women’s Championship
Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
Pre-match: Rhea says she’s taking everything. Liv says she’s been through worse and she’s still standing.
Physical, mean match. Rhea dominates early with power. Liv fires up with strikes and a near-fall after a Codebreaker. Rhea hits a Riptide — Liv kicks out at two and a half. The crowd explodes. Liv catches her with a roll-up out of nowhere.
Winner and still PWA Women’s Champion: Liv Morgan
Michael Cole: “Liv Morgan survives again!”
Corey Graves: “That kickout on the Riptide won her the match.”
Kai Hansen: “Ripley had her. Then she didn’t. That’s the difference.”

Match 9
Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre
Pre-match: Drew, as Bullet Club leader, says Cody came back looking for a fairytale. Cody says he came back looking for Drew.
This is the match of the night so far. Big spots. Cody hits Cross Rhodes for two. Drew hits Claymore for two. They fight on the floor. Drew sends Cody into the ring post. Back inside, Cody’s disaster kick lands. Another Cross Rhodes — kickout. Drew looks for a second Claymore. Cody ducks, hits one more Cross Rhodes, and scores the pin.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Post-match Drew sits up and stares at him. No cheap shot. Just a look that says this is not finished. Bullet Club watches from the stage.
Michael Cole: “Cody Rhodes just won the biggest match of his return.”
Corey Graves: “That felt like a main event.”
Kai Hansen: “Two of the only ones on this card who didn’t need help. Imagine that.”

Match 10 – WWA World Tag Team Championships
Tribal Fight
Guerrillas of Destiny (c) vs Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu
No disqualification feel. Weapons, spears, splashes onto the floor. Tonga and Loa use the numbers early. Solo spikes Tanga Loa. Jacob Fatu moonsaults onto both Tongans on the outside. Finish comes when Solo hits the Samoan Spike on Tama Tonga and Fatu covers.

Michael Cole: “The titles are going back with Roman’s side!”
Corey Graves: “That Tribal Fight lived up to the name.”
Kai Hansen: “The cousins collected. The Tongans got smaller.”

Co-Main Event  – WWA World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Hikuleo
Pre-match: Roman says family ends when the title is on the line. Hikuleo says he already pinned him once.
Hikuleo’s size matters early. He slams Roman. He hits a splash for two. Roman weathers it, starts chopping him down, and the Superman Punch lands. Spear. Hikuleo kicks out. The crowd thinks it’s over. Roman hits a second spear.
Winner and still WWA World Heavyweight Champion: Roman Reigns
Post-match Roman stands over him with the title. Dominant. Clear. The Bloodline side is on top of the WWA picture heading out of the stadium.
Michael Cole: “Roman Reigns remains the WWA World Heavyweight Champion!”
Corey Graves: “He made a statement in there.”
Kai Hansen: “The big man had a moment this summer. Roman just closed the book.”

Main Event – PWA Heavyweight Championship
CM Punk (c) vs. Karrion Kross
(Scarlett at ringside)
Pre-match: Scarlett takes a mic and goes after Punk’s marriage one more time. Punk doesn’t answer her. He stares at Kross.
Hard, mean main event. Kross works the neck. Scarlett distracts the referee. Kross Jacket almost ends it. Punk reaches the ropes. GTS — Kross kicks out. The stadium pops. Kross hits a big boot and looks for another hold.
Then the music hits.
AJ Lee walks out.
The place explodes. Scarlett turns. AJ slides in and levels her. Kross turns to see it. That half-second is enough. Punk hits the GTS and covers.
Winner and still PWA Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk
Post-match Punk doesn’t celebrate the title first. He looks at AJ. She looks at him. They meet in the center of the ring. The title is on his shoulder. She’s back. The company that split them on paper just put them in the same ring again.
Michael Cole: “CM Punk retains! And AJ Lee is back in PWA!”
Corey Graves: “That is one of the biggest moments in the history of this show.”
Kai Hansen: “He needed his wife to win a wrestling match. I’d make a joke… but even I know when to shut up for a second.”
Punk and AJ stand together as the 40th Annual All Star Spectacular goes off the air.
